The Hollywood actor, Jack Nicholson, who is today 73 years old, avoids thinking about his past as it  

gets him nowhere. As a child, Jack Nicholson lived with his maternal grandparents whom he assumed to be his parents and in reality, his mother was the one whom he considered his sister. When he had grown up, the Times Magazine was doing a feature of Nicholson, who revealed to him that his parents were actually no one else but his grand parents. That came as a shock to Nicholson as by that time, his mother and his grandparents had died and he could not confront any of them for the truth. About his father, he is still unaware. He does not know as to who his father is. In fact, people who knew his mother, say that even she did not know who the father was. The story went like this. Jack Nicholson’s mother, June Nicholson was a showgirl known by the name June Nilson and there, she fell in love with a showman, Donald Furcillo.  

The two married when June Nicholson was already three months pregnant with Jack Nicholson. Donald Furcillo was already married and even offered June to take the responsibility of the child but June’s mother suggested her to keep the child with her and side by side, give time to her dance classes too. On one hand, where Donald Furcillo kept claiming in public that Jack Nicholson was his child, some said that it was the child of June and her manager, Eddie King (Edgar A. Kirschfeld) whereas some even said that June herself did not know about the father. Jack Nicholson until now is unaware of his father. He says that only his mother and his grand mother, Ethel May Rhoads, knew who his father was but unfortunately, they are now, no more to reveal the secret. Jack Nicholson knows that the only way to come to know about his father is a DNA test but then he has always run away from it as now, he does not want to dug his past.
